Description

SS 316L is an austenitic, low-carbon stainless steel with a specified chemical composition including 16-18% Chromium, 10-14% Nickel, and 2-3% Molybdenum. Key properties include a low-carbon content, which provides enhanced resistance to intergranular corrosion after welding, good mechanical strength (e.g., 170 MPa yield strength, 485 MPa tensile strength), and excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in chloride-containing environments Finish : No.1 finish hot rolled, Hot rolled plate (HR), 2B, 2D, BA NO (8), No.4, BA, , Cold rolled sheet (CR), etc.
